What is Roastagram?
An AI roast engine for entertainment. Give it an Instagram link or an image, pick how brutal it should be, and get a roast with a Roastagram Score.
What is IG Link Roast?
Paste a public Instagram post, Reel or profile link and the AI roasts it: visuals, caption or bio, hashtags and whatever public numbers exist.
What is Upload Photo?
Upload a photo, screenshot, post, story, profile or any image you want roasted. No Instagram link needed.
Which Instagram links are supported?
Publicly accessible Instagram post, carousel, Reel and profile links (instagram.com/username). No Instagram login is ever required.
Can I roast content from a private Instagram account?
Not by link — private posts and private profiles can't be fetched. Take a screenshot instead and run it through Upload Photo.
Can I upload screenshots instead of a link?
Yes. Screenshots of posts, stories, profiles or feeds work perfectly and are roasted on what's visible in the image.
What kinds of images can I upload?
Selfies, photos, social screenshots, profile shots — anything you're happy to have judged. JPG, JPEG, PNG or WEBP, up to 8 MB.
Are there images I can't upload?
Yes. Explicit, graphic, sensitive or otherwise restricted images are checked and rejected before any roast is written.
What do the roast levels do?
Light, Medium, Savage and Brutal change how merciless the writing gets. The underlying analysis and your score stay the same.
Is my first roast really free?
Yes. Your first roast is on the house — link or upload, your choice.
How do credits and subscriptions work?
After the free roast, a Roast Pass gives you a monthly or yearly roast allowance. Out of roasts? Extra Roast packs top you up and never expire.
Can I share my roast?
Yes. Every result has share cards for feed and stories plus a share link. Nothing is public until you share it yourself.
What happens to the images I upload?
They're stored privately, used only for your roast, and are never public or browsable by anyone else.
Can I delete a roast?
Yes. Delete it from your history and its share link stops working, along with any image stored for it.
Is Roastagram affiliated with Instagram or Meta?
No. Roastagram is an independent entertainment product and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
How old do I have to be?
Roastagram is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to use it, with or without an account.
Can I roast a photo of a child?
No. Uploading or roasting content that depicts a minor is not allowed, and we may refuse processing or remove results.
What is the Roastability score?
It's a 0–100 read on how much comedic material your image offers — framing, background, styling and everything you left in the shot.
Why doesn't my score change when I pick a harsher level?
Roast level changes the tone of the writing only. Roastability describes the source image, so it stays the same across levels.
Will each roast level actually feel different?
Yes. Each level has its own comedic angle, and we steer new roasts away from jokes already used on the same image.
Which languages does Roastagram support?
The interface and roasts are available in 15 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
Can I get a refund?
Subscriptions and roast packs are digital services delivered immediately, so payments are generally non-refundable. Where a roast fails for a technical reason, we try to restore the credit automatically.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Manage or cancel it from your account page at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
How accurate is a roast?
It isn't meant to be accurate. Roasts are AI-generated jokes based on what's visible in the image, not verified statements about anyone.
How do I report abuse or request removal?
Use the Report Abuse page for harmful or problematic content, and the Data Removal page to ask us to delete a roast, an upload or account data. Requests may need appropriate review or verification, and knowing someone's email address or a result URL does not entitle anyone to private account information.
What happens if a roast fails after my credit was used?
When an eligible generation fails after a roast credit has been consumed, the system is designed to restore that credit. If the credit is not restored, contact support and we'll check it. This is credit restoration, not automatically a cash refund.
